Oh baby, baby

Oh, I didn't tell you? Yeah, I'm knocked alllll the way up! Baby Cotton is due in June and I just got around to taking pictures Week 20. There's a banana sized human cooking in there.

This is my go-to "I don't know what else to wear" outfit: affectionately referred to as Pregnant Ninja (all black) with either a statement jewelry or fur piece, or both.

Comfortable Navy Dress with Fur Vest

I wore this outfit several times (usually with my velvet combat boots) before I finally got around to photographing it! This dress is an insanely flattering/comfortable sample from friend of a friend Brooke's line Blank Nation Apparel. Brooke's clothes are all cool pieces that are both comfortable and affordable (holla!).

Silk Polka Dot Blouse with Camo Blazer and New Purse

This is that $50 Nordstrom purse (now marked down to $24!!!) I posted on Facebook a few weeks ago! It is every bit as fantastic as I'd hoped. This is also the coat from Friday's post with the hood attached. Also important: this silk blouse is Joe Fresh from JC Penney and is probably still on sale in store.

Olive Coat with Leather Trim and Fur Hood

I think I had a pretty cute outfit on under here, but I was too cold to take off my coat! So, here's a look at my newest addition to my coat collection. It's a Laundry find from TJ Maxx, with a zip-off fur hood (removed in this picture). It's not as warm as it ought to be, but I'll be damned if it isn't adorable.

SOLID INVESTMENT

This look started as a copycat: one of the other teachers wore a denim shirt with black jeans and a grey cardigan and it was super cute. I started with this denim shirt and my black "magic" pants, but then went rogue and added the fur vest and boots. The neon bracelet adds a pop of color.

ROCK YOUR BODY

This was a morning when I was fresh out of ideas. I knew I needed boots because of the snow, and then I threw on a bunch of comfy layers. The blazer-y jacket helps workify it a little.

I would like to note that this tee was an item I checked off my Want But Can't Find list. I had been dying for a rockerish tee that 1. had some color in it and 2. didn't involve a band logo. I was psyched when I found this one on extreme sale at Zara!

Hell Bent For Leather

Hooray, jeans to work! Thank goodness I only had to wear real work clothes for one day this week - I need a little time to get back into the mood. I've been hanging onto this shirt for over a month, and finally wore it out. It's a bit sheer, so I layered a nude cami under it . I don't  mind a hint of bra when I'm out at night, but I don't need to share my undergarments with 14-year-olds. (It was so cold in my room, I ended up wearing the vest 90% of the day anyway.)

It took me a while to finally bust these American Eagle jeans out, too. These are the same as the black ones I bought in store. I liked those so much that I ordered these in blue online. I tried to wear these to the Bulls game with my tee and Converse, but I looked like I could easily fit in with the 8th Grade.
