Star Hoodie with Leather Pencil Skirt

I found this sweatshirt in the kids department at Old Navy. Apparently, it was a big hit because it sold out already.

If you haven't bought yourself a (faux)leather pencil skirt yet, YOU NEED ONE. I wear this bad boy to work, to dinner, and I almost wore it to a cocktail event (decided on something else at the last minute, but it would've worked beautifully).

Pink Ombre Necklace and Menswear Trousers

I don't know if you can tell, but this was a VERY windy day! These are the pants that match this blazer (also a super windy day!). All of these pieces are either kind of old or very old - this was kind of a "whatever" outfit. But it seems like the less thought I put into a look, the more compliments I get! I paired the menswear-ish pants, watch, and tee with floral sandals and the pink necklace for a fun contrast. The wind is responsible for my hairdo...

You're So Selfies

These are officially the worst pictures on the blog! I'm sorry for this disaster, but I wanted to share this cute black and white combo.

LIPSTICK ON YOUR COLLAR: DAY 3

Here is an example of how a crisp white collared blouse can dress just about anything up. Without it, this is basically just a hoodie and jeans. But with it, this was a totally work appropriate outfit.

(The boots weren't my first choice for this, but I was too scared to go for naked feet!)

Modern Chivalry

Day Three of Pajamas on the Down Low.

I got a bazillion compliments on this sweater, but Jill gets ALL the credit. She saw it on another blogger, ordered two sizes and offered the other to me. Umm, YES PLEASE. It looks like chain mail armor, but it's a cotton sweater coated in silver paint.

I had forgotten about these shoes, until a few days ago when a student randomly said,"I like your sparkly* shoes that look like Vans." I was very confused, explaining I had a LOT of sparkly shoes, but then realized he meant these herringbone sneakers. Why DON'T I wear these more often???

So, I'm wearing sneakers, a loose sweater with a light cotton top, and glorified leggings with pockets (Don't judge me, I washed them!). Throw in some serious jewelry, and I call this successful undercover jammies.

*I would not consider these sparkly - hence my confusion - but the herringbone has a slight metallic shine to it. You can sort of see little reflection dots if you zoom in.
