Let's Go Shopping: Urban Outfitters Comfortable Sandals

UrbanOutfitters sandals

I finally unpacked all of my Spring/Summer shoes, and now I'm ready to beef up my collection strategically. Here are a bunch of super cute, super comfortable sandals I found at Urban Outfitters. I have obscenely high arches, so I need a little bit of a heel to make them comfortable to walk in, but just a little! I'm also not a huge fan of the straight-up thong style where your toes are all over the place, so these all have a toe strap to keep those piggies tactfully tamed.

Let's Go Shopping: Furbish

Furbish

Furbish is this adorable site with all kinds of goodies for home and to wear. Another blogger Instagrammed this ridiculously fun tassel on her purse, so I went hunting for it. OMG you guys, so much cute stuff in a wide range of prices! Here are some of my faves (can you tell I have wedding stuff on the brain today?). Those pink earrings are dead ringers for my lavender/mint Charming Charlie version.

*I have not been compensated for these opinions, but if Furbish would like to, hollaaaa!

Forever and a Day

forever finds

My dermatologist is walking distance from my favorite Forever 21, so you know I had to swing by after my appointment yesterday! Here are the goodies I picked up (that just so happen to make a decent outfit all put together!). I couldn't find the exact top I bought online - mine looks basically like this one, but it's pale pink with little rose gold spikes for the buttons.

Ooo and I also picked up these hilarious pajamas!

Graphic Organizer

My mom took me and a friend to see Clueless the day it came out in theaters. If memory serves, I think we even got to leave school a little early!  Cher's fictional life was covetable  for a variety of reasons, but her electronic closet was the ultimate in fashionista fantasy.

While searching for a photo in my phone, I came across a year old collection of my own version of the electronic outfit maker. The photos were dated from late March 2011 which means I was student teaching. I must've been putting together teacher outfits to help me during those last minute morning rushes when I'm particularly uninspired.

Some of these items I have since given away, but it's fun to see how I was putting things together a year and a half ago.

These days, when I'm preemptively putting outfits together, I just end up hanging them up together in my closet, which is easier to look through than busting out my phone and scrolling through, but it's also not as thorough and permanent as photos.

Do you make outfits ahead of time? How do you keep track of them?

Hangin' Tough

Scary jewelry at hilariously low prices

In honor of upcoming Halloween and my reigning obsession with studs, spikes, and skulls, here is some awesomely tough looking jewelry at hilariously low prices, via Ebay.  Everything is under $3, and I think most of them have free shipping.

The best part about buying these super cheap pieces (usually from Asia), is that by the time they are delivered, you already forgot that you ordered it! So, it's like sending yourself a present in 3 weeks.
